The Smashing Pumpkins are back with new music, and it comes with a pretty epic reunion.
The band just released “Black Stars,” an original song written for the upcoming film The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping. Even cooler? They teamed back up with legendary producer Butch Vig for the first time since their iconic 1993 album Siamese Dream. The track started taking shape while frontman Billy Corgan was working on a solo project before the band was tapped for the soundtrack. The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping (The Album) arrives November 13th, ahead of the movie’s theatrical release on November 20th.
