On April 2nd, 1999, I played the first ever song on 1029 The Buzz (Semisonic- Closing Time) and 20- plus years later I’m still rockin’!
I was born in Nashville and have lived in and around Middle Tennessee my whole life. I graduated from LaVergne High School longer ago than I want to admit.
I love sports, especially college football. I would tell you my favorite team if they didn’t suck. My NFL team is the Indianapolis Colts (sorry Titans fans).
I also love going to concerts with friends and I can be found around the area at flea markets and yard sales looking for old 80s metal vinyl records. If you have any you wanna sell, hit me up!
Am I really that boring????

Back When Dagwood Had Hair: Kiss "Destroyer" Turns 50

And, of course, they've released a 50 year anniversary edition. I don't need one of those, as you can see above, I still have m...

Back When Dagwood Had Hair: Quiet Riot
Today we talked about the release of Quiet Riot's "Metal Health" back in 1983. It became the first heavy metal album to reach number one, which is amazing considering that Michael Jackson's Thriller and The Police's Synchronicity held the top spots for 39 weeks that year combined. The album sold 6 million cop...
