AC/DC has canceled its September 16th show in Toronto after a massive storm caused significant damage to Rogers Stadium. The storm, which hit the area on September 2nd, reportedly produced extreme winds and heavy rain that damaged large sections of the stadium’s seating area, which officials described it as a potential “100-year storm.” The venue and promoters looked for another option, but couldn’t find a replacement that could accommodate the show, so the date was ultimately scrapped. That leaves just three shows remaining on AC/DC’s Power Up tour, which wraps up September 29th in Philadelphia.
And honestly, AC/DC vs. Mother Nature is a hell of a way for this tour to go out. Read more from Loudwire HERE.
