Heads up, Middle TN, TDOT is lowering the speed limit on I-40 through Lebanon from 70 to 60 mph starting Tuesday, August 11th, to help manage the expected increase in traffic around the Tennessee State Fair.
The reduced limit will stay in place throughout the fair, which runs August 13th–22nd, so if you’re heading that way, prepare for slower speeds and heavier traffic.
