Josh Homme pulled a boss move at a recent show and lit up a cigarette onstage, despite a a threat from the venue slapping him with a big fine.
During Queens of the Stone Age’s recent show, he railed against the venue’s $10,000 smoking fine before lighting up onstage anyway. He also took shots at expensive drinks, scalpers, corporations, and the general state of modern concert-going.
He said, and I quote, “Don’t let these f*****’ corporate assholes tell you what to do, do whatever the f*** you want. F*** that shit. You paid for parking, and you’re paying for overpriced drinks, these f****** scalpers. F*** having some corporation tell you what the f*** to do, you guys do what you want!”
