Ummm yeah… DUH.
According to FOX 17, TDOT has launched a major study of Nashville’s Inner Loop to figure out how to tackle congestion, improve safety, and plan for the city’s future as Middle Tennessee keeps growing. The study covers roughly 32 miles of interstate around downtown and will look at everything from traffic backups and freight movement to pedestrian access and long-term transportation improvements. Officials are asking the public to weigh in before any future projects are planned, saying community feedback will help shape what comes next.
Nashville ranked as #2, just one notch down from Atlanta.
In other words… TDOT is officially studying whether Nashville traffic is bad, and we’ve known this for years. Read more from FOX 17 HERE.
