Five Finger Death Punch just dropped some huge news for fans: the band has officially announced its 10th studio album, Legacy, arriving digitally on July 31st, with physical copies following on September 18th.
Alongside the announcement, they released a brand-new single, “De Oppresso Liber,” named after the motto of the U.S. Army Special Forces, which translates to “to liberate the oppressed.” According to Loudwire, Guitarist Zoltan Bathory says the song is a tribute to those who choose to protect others, while the album itself reflects on the band’s 20-year journey without losing sight of what’s next.
If “Eye of the Storm” got you fired up, buckle up. Legacy looks like it’s doubling down on the crushing riffs, anthemic hooks, and all the heavy-hitting energy Five Finger Death Punch has built its reputation on. Twenty years in, and they’re still finding new ways to punch you in the face… musically, of course.
