Our song from today was actually from before Dagwood was even born (so technically he didn’t have hair, right?) Anyway, today we heard “The Wizard” as we celebrated the release of what many think was the first heavy metal album ever, Black Sabbath’s debut “Black Sabbath”. It was released on this day (June 1st) in 1970.
I love this album, especially the creepy cover!
