Shinedown just proved yet again why their fans ride so hard for them.
During a recent show in Wisconsin, the band honored a longtime fan’s request to play “Junkies for Fame” live, which is a song they hadn’t performed in 18 YEARS. The fan, Anthony, was attending his 102nd Shinedown concert (!!!!), and the band stopped the show to make the moment happen just for him. Even better? Frontman Brent Smith personally shouted him out, hugged him onstage, and made sure the whole crowd knew he was “number one tonight.” One of the many reasons we love this band: they genuinely care about the people who’ve supported them since day one.
