BNA said “you thought we were done upgrading? lol absolutely not.”
According to FOX 17, Nashville International Airport is shutting down its observation area as part of yet another phase of its massive glow-up, all tied into the ongoing multi-billion-dollar “New Horizon” expansion. The goal? Turn BNA into a full-on bougie travel experience with bigger concourses, more bars/restaurants, expanded shopping, upgraded terminals, and way more room to breathe as passenger numbers keep exploding. They’re also reworking the main terminal core to improve flow (aka less chaotic lines), adding more escalators and elevators, upgrading roadways, and even building out new parking and rental car facilities.
So say goodbye to the simple “watch planes take off” area and hello to a much more polished, high-end airport experience. BNA is clearly going all-in on being that airport… the one that feels less like travel stress and more like you accidentally wandered into a fancy mall with planes attached.
