After years of teasing new music, Evanescence has finally announced their next album Sanctuary, set to drop June 5th.
According to Loudwire, the record has apparently been more than three years in the making, and the band kicked off the announcement by releasing the new single “Who Will You Follow.” It’ll be the group’s sixth studio album and the follow-up to 2021’s The Bitter Truth, with the band saying they’re “so damn proud” of how it turned out.
They’re not just dropping the album and disappearing… Evanescence is hitting the road hard in 2026, with a North American tour launching shortly after the release and running through the summer before heading to Europe later in the year. Spiritbox and Nova Twins are along for the ride, which basically guarantees some very loud nights ahead. Lucky for us, they make a stop in Nashville on June 15th.
If the first single is any indication, Sanctuary might be one of their heaviest and most dramatic chapters yet, which is exactly what we want from them anyway. Read more from Loudwire HERE, and listen below!
