Okay, we might actually watch the Grammys this year just to see this Ozzy tribute… because the Recording Academy just announced they’re pulling together a real rock-and-roll send-off for the Prince of Darkness during the In Memoriam segment of the 2026 Grammy Awards on February 1st.
So here’s the lineup that’s got us grinning (or at least raising an eyebrow with excitement): Post Malone will be front and center, joined by a rock-heavy supergroup featuring Slash and Duff McKagan from Guns N’ Roses, Chad Smith of Red Hot Chili Peppers, and producer/musician Andrew Watt, all teaming up to honor Ozzy Osbourne.
Plus, in broader Grammy land, other tribute performances include Ms. Lauryn Hill honoring icons like D’Angelo and Roberta Flack, and Reba McEntire with Brandy Clark and Lukas Nelson saluting musical greats we lost this year.
If that doesn’t make you think “okay, maybe this broadcast ain’t a total snoozefest,” I don’t know what will. Read more from Loudwire HERE.
