A 28-year-old Corvette driver, Landon Morris tried his hand at being Florida’s own Lando Norris when he allegedly decided to race through neighborhood and do donuts in a church parking lot.
Instead of drinks and small talk, Morris thought kicking up smoke in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses parking lot was the best way to impress his date. However, the peacocking also caught the attention of a sheriff’s deputy who crashed their romantic evening by placing Morris under arrest.
Apparently, the date ended up apologizing, saying she was the one who asked for the donuts, though. We guess there will be a second date…it’ll just have to come after a court date.
