These 4 Bands Make Up the ‘Grunge Bands of Mount Rushmore’

When you think back to the grunge era, from the late 80’s to mid 90’s, what four bands come to mind? Or in this case, the “four grunge bands of Mount Rushmore.”

It sounds random, but it’s another way to say the four giants of that era, and Vice compiled the four bands that would complete it…

1. Nirvana / George Washington

2. Soundgarden / Thomas Jefferson

3. Pearl Jam / Theodore Roosevelt

4. Alice In Chains / Abe Lincoln
