Does Tennessee have a friendly or rowdy crowd during concerts?
It depends on the concert you go to… a Taylor Swift crowd and a Slipknot crowd are two COMPLETELY different temperaments. A survey from Betway was conducted to determine which states in the country have the most “rowdy” or “friendly” crowds, and what behaviors and habits at concerts that are the most annoying. Don’t be that person…
Betway surveyed 2,057 Americans about what concert behaviors bothers them the most. They used the responses to uncover which states have the most vigorous and unhinged audiences, and which have the the most peaceful crowds. The states were ranked by the average number of “negative” behaviors and habits people experienced at shows.
Friendliest Crowds
- Nebraska
- South Dakota
- Missouri
- Idaho
- Utah
- Arizona
- Virginia
- Wyoming (Do they even have concerts there?!)
Rowdiest Crowds
- Wisconsin
- Louisiana
- Oklahoma
- Massachusetts
- Minnesota
- New Mexico
- Rhode Island
- Maryland
As for Tennessee, we ranked somewhere in the middle with an “average number of behaviors experienced.” They clearly haven’t seen a show at Municipal in the mosh pit…
The most annoying concert behaviors were people standing in seated seats so others behind them can’t see, pushing/shoving to get to the front, holding up signs, people sitting on shoulders, and being overly intoxicated. Read more from Betway HERE.
