We already knew that… but now science CONFIRMS IT!
Beer obviously tastes better in an ice cold frosty mug, but somebody took the time to actually figure out why. According to NY Post, researchers discovered that alcoholic beverages taste more or less “ethanol-like” in different temperatures. The study shows, “the temperature of the liquid changes how the water and ethanol (or alcohol) form — creating chain-like or pyramid-shaped clusters at the molecular level, which impacts how the drink tastes.”
In conclusion, “This is why we drink cold beer.” To nerd out about more scientific facts about cold beer, read more from NY Post HERE.
