In case you’re the only person left not excited about Monday’s solar eclipse, don’t freak out when Middle Tennessee goes completely dark for 4 minutes.
On Monday, April 8, 2024, a solar eclipse will sweep across the United States. The upper northwest corner of Tennessee, encompassing Reelfoot Lake State Park, will be privileged to experience totality, where the Sun is entirely blocked by the Moon. The remainder of the state will witness a partial eclipse. In some areas, like Nashville, the Moon will cover 95% of the Sun’s face!
