Dozens of teen anglers from many different schools in Middle Tennessee helped pull out 33,322 pounds of trash from the banks of Percy Priest Lake this past weekend.
Items pulled out of the lake were alcohol and beer bottles, hundreds of tires, televisions, microwaves, buoys, mattresses, recliners, couches, appliances, car batteries and a porta-potty.
Future cleanups are scheduled for February on Tim’s Ford and Old Hickory Lake. To keep up click HERE for the organizers.
