Stay home if you can, Nashville!!
According to WKRN‘s website, the Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) responded to dozens of weather-related incidents on Monday during record-setting snowfall. Since temperatures will not be above freezing until potentially Thursday, they continue to urge residents to not drive on the hazardous roads.
They’re suggesting that if you must drive, then use the “priority routes,” such as major interstates and emergency service routes. TDOT is also prioritizing clearing certain roads that freeze quickly and easily, like bridges, ramps, hills, curves, and interchanges.
