How can a 7-year-old’s homework make us feel so dumb?!
A mom of this elementary student posted to a Facebook group a picture of this super confusing question on her first grader’s homework assignment. The problem said: “Which word is the odd one out?” and “Explain why” with the choices Toothbrush, Friend, Desk, Silver, and Egg.
As expected, thousands of confused Facebook users commented their responses and theories.
Egg, because it’s the only edible thing on there? Silver, because the rest are nouns? Friend, because it’s the only living thing?? What do you think?
