If you were anywhere near the airport over the weekend, you know how treacherous the traffic was getting in and out of the area. It was madness!! And with the holidays coming up soon, it won’t calm down anytime soon.
According to FOX 17, Nashville International Airport leaders have “listened to the traffic concerns,” and they’re planning to open a new short-term parking area to hopefully ease the traffic congestion, and it’s opening as soon as this week.
Beginning Friday, December 1st, BNA will allow short-term parking at the Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 Garages for those picking up travelers. And yes, it’s free, but for the first 30 minutes. The cost will increase to $5 up to 45 minutes, $10 up to 60 minutes, $20 up to 90 minutes, and so on.
