Well, that didn’t take long.
Remember the news about the tiny submarine that was supposed to go see the Titanic, and it mysteriously went missing? That was back in June, and it flooded our news feeds for days, leaving people wondering if the five people on board were killed by implosion, or they were stranded without power in the ocean somewhere.
The submersible reportedly imploded, killing all five passengers on board.
There were plenty of assumptions and jokes about this tragedy being made into a movie, and they wasted no time, because three months later, there’s reportedly a movie already in the works.
According to E! Online, the producers and writers of the film say, “Our film will not only honor all those involved in the submersible tragedy, and their families, but the feature will serve as a vessel that also addresses a more macro concern about the nature of media today.”
