Mom is Under Fire for Taking Baby to a Rock Festival

This metal mom is facing some backlash online after bringing her 10-month-old baby to a rock festival recently.

She took her baby daughter, Lemmy (!!!), to Download Festival last weekend, one of the biggest rock festivals in the UK. Despite comments online claiming she “risked her baby’s life,” she apparently says that she will “do it again next year!”

According to the new mom, Lemmy’s ears were protected with headphones, lathered in sunscreen, and they stayed away from large crowds. The festival reportedly catered to parents with young kids and had changing stations available. According to NY Post, she said, “She slept through the Metallica set and Bring Me The Horizon set. Lemmy had ear defenders on for the music and copious amounts of sunscreen. I got a really good pram fan so we had no problem at all.”
