It was THAT. LOUD.
Metallica headlined a night of Download Festival at Donington Park in England over the weekend. According to Derbyshire Live, the show was “reportedly heard as far away as West Hallam, northeast of Derby, some 15 miles away from the stage as the crow flies.” Residents in the area apparently made noise complaints because the music was heard well enough to where they believed it was coming from the neighbors’.
A resident also stated, “It’s bloody loud this year – wish I was there. I can literally see the stage lights too!”
