FACT: Everything tastes better when it’s free. Today, June 2nd is National Donut Day, and several Nashville spots are celebrating it with specials and freebies.

- Krispy Kreme –408 Thompson Lane
Krispy Kreme is offering customers two different deals for National Donut Day. Customers can get one donut of their choice for free, or they can enjoy a dozen original glazed donuts for just $2 when they buy another dozen.
- Dunkin Donuts –1500 21st Avenue South, 326 Harding Place, 847 Briley Pkwy
Dunkin Donuts is known for their donuts and their coffee, and this National Donut Day, they’re offering customers the chance to get both. You can get a free donut of any kind with the purchase of any beverage.
- Fox’s Donut Den –3900 Hillsboro Pike
Friday isn’t just National Donut Day- it’s also the 50th anniversary of Fox’s Donut Den, which opened in 1973. To celebrate, Donut Den is going back to 1973-era prices, offering customers a 1/2 dozen glazed donuts for just 25 cents!
- Shipley’s Do-Nuts –2540 Lebanon Pike
“Make Life Delicious” is the slogan for this Texas-based donut chain. They certainly plan to do that this National Donut Day, offering customers a free glazed donut with any purchase.
