Staind just released their first new song in over a decade, and it’s heavy… Just the way we like it.
The new song is the first track off their upcoming album Confessions Of The Fallen, which will be released later this year. This is Staind’s first album since 2011.
Aaron Lewis told Billboard about the new single:
“Everybody has got people in their lives that don’t bring out the good in somebody. Just with what’s going on in the world right now, there’s so many things, so many people that are like, ‘You bring out the lowest in me.’ There’s a lot of factors out there that could fall under the ‘you’ category.”
He also told Billboard when asked about getting the band back together and releasing a new album, “I don’t know if there was ever a right time or a wrong time. It just felt like it was finally time to do it.”
