Ticketmaster has gotten plenty of backlash on their tickets prices and endless amount of fees, especially in the past two years. The extra fees Ticketmaster tacks on can drive up the ticket price an extra 30 percent. Music fans and even some bands and artists have been furious at the extra costs and demand the prices to be much lower.

Finally, Ticketmaster decided to come forward and address these issues.
According to Loudwire, the LiveNation President/CEO said:
“We’ve got to now go out and do a much better job so policymakers and consumers understand how the business operates. We’ve historically not had a big incentive to shout out loud that venues are charging high service fees or artist costs are expensive. But I think now [that] education is paramount.”
So, what you’re saying is… Explaining why the ticket prices are so high is going to make us feel better?!
