To say Sam Tinnesz has been killing it in 2022 would be the honest understatement of the year. If anything Tinnesz has been unapologetically murdering 2022 and I’ll be happily air drumming at his trial all next year when he’s arrested for this crime. Tinnesz dropped “Sometimes People Suck” recently and like all his other singles this year, it has a vibe all it’s own but somehow still captures the true indie rock sensibility that we’ve all grown to love about him. These last couple singles he’s released have a rad sense of coming into his own and overcoming someone who wronged him (a feeling we all hope to achieve in situations like that). To be honest I have no idea who wronged Tinnesz but I want to thank them, for fueling the fire that is burning up the music world these days. A very wise man once told me “the best revenge is a life well lived” and I have to say congrats to Sam Tinnesz for doing just that. Now do yourself a favor and turn this one up NOW.
