By far one of the most unique and innovative artists I feature on my show, Sam Tinnesz, continues to raise the bar with every release he puts out. “I Made You Cool” is a darker song lyrically but disguised inside a feel good rock tune. I’m always a fan of artists who can write songs like this and hide the real message inside the vibe in such a cool way. The song seems to find Tinnesz regretting helping someone in his past who capitalized on his help and then kicked him to the curb. Sadly that’s something we see too often in “music city”. Good thing is, and as Tinnesz says in the song, karma always gets you. Remember that young bands and artists, because truer words have never been sung. Now do yourself a favor and turn this one up NOW.
