Nashville is growing at rapid speed, and even though there are a lot of things to do in the city, it ranked high in the Top Cities for Homebodies.
Nashville ranked #3! It’s based on average internet speed, housing price-to-income ratio, average home size, and average yard size. Joybird said:
Nashville has the fastest average internet speed out of the top five cities for homebodies, and this is likely due to the sizable presence Google Fiber has in the city. The Music City also has the largest average home and yard size in the top five, so if you’re looking for lots of space in your refuge or have an outdoor dog, Nashville might be worth considering!
According to Joybird, their methodology:
We considered 11 different ranking factors to determine which of the 50 most populous U.S. cities are the best for homebodies. Each of the 11 factors was graded on a five-point scale, with five representing the most favorable score and zero representing the least favorable. Each factor was also weighted based on how strongly we felt it affects homebodies. A final score from 0-50 was calculated for each of the 50 cities by averaging together the 11 weighted factor scores (note that even though there are 11 factors, the sum of their weights is 10).
