For the first time in franchise history, the Nashville Predators will retire Pekka Rinne’s #35 jersey in February.
According to NHL.com:
Nashville Predators President and CEO Sean Henry and President of Hockey Operations/General Manager David Poile announced today that the team will retire Pekka Rinne’s No. 35 on Feb. 24, 2022 at Bridgestone Arena ahead of that night’s game against the Dallas Stars. Rinne, who played his entire 683-game NHL career in Nashville, will become the first player in the history of the Predators organization to have his jersey retired.
