BadCulture did us a massive favor by releasing your new favorite song this past weekend. To say I’m a fan of this band would be an understatement. I remember first hearing about them a few years back and loving the name and sound of the band right away. They stick out in the music industry in such a rad way. So many artists going the way of no drums, co-writes, and doing that voice (you know the voice I’m referring to) and I LOVE seeing BadCulture completely reject all of that nonsense and completely blazing their own trail.
“Cherry Red” gives me vibes of Dandy Warhols meets early Cage The Elephant with a dash of late 80s Replacements mixed into something all it’s own. I’ve always loved the honesty of this band mixed with rad melodies, solid drums, and rad lyrics. To be honest I feel like it’s only a matter of time until the rest of the world catches onto what BadCulture is doing and starts ripping them off. So before that happens, do yourself a huge favor, and turn this on up NOW.
