I-440 Will Be Finished on July 2nd!!

What may be considered as the greatest news of 2020 was just announced recently.

Nashville’s own Neverending Story, also known as construction on I-440, will be reportedly finished and fully reopened on Thursday, July 2nd, just slightly earlier than their original reopening date of August 2020.

According to TDOT,

For the duration of the project, two lanes of I-440 will remain open during peak morning and afternoon travel times. Nighttime lane closures will be from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. TDOT is also working closely with Metro Nashville Public Works to address signal timing and other issues on local streets in the project area, which are likely to see an increase in traffic once I-440 is under construction.
