Remember live concerts? Not the Facebook Live ones, but the ones that happen in real life where hundreds and thousands of people gather to watch a show at a venue?! Those were the days… Experts are preparing us to not expect us to attend a live concert again anytime soon (ughh) but in Missouri, it’s another story. As of today, May 4th, the state of Missouri will allow live concerts again, but there are some restrictions.
According to Billboard:
On April 27, Governor Parson released his Show Me Strong recovery plan that details plans for gradually reopening the state’s economy starting May 4. The plan allows for retail stores to serve customers in-store at limited capacities and for restaurants to re-establish dine-in services while remaining socially distanced.
According to the Show Me Strong guidelines, large events and gatherings are no longer banned, but in order to go to a concert, movie theater or stadium “seating shall be spaced out according to social distancing requirements.”
So what do you think… Is it too soon? Or is it about damn time? You can read more about the plan from Billboard HERE.
