This contest is void where prohibited by law. 102.9 The Buzz is giving away a pair of tickets to Nickelback at Bridgestone Arena on Tuesday, August 1st and qualifying listeners for the grand prize, a chance to introduce Nickelback on stage at the show and a pair of tickets in the 501 Club at Bridgestone Arena. Weekdays, during the 11am and 4pm hours, listen for the cue to call and the listener will win a pair of tickets to a show in Nashville and qualify for the grand prize. Listeners can also qualify for the grand prize by submitting a video to the Buzz website (1029thebuzz.com). A 102.9 The Buzz employee will randomly select one winner to win the grand prize.

Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible participants. Each winner must submit proof of eligibility and sign any of provided release forms to claim the prize.
PUBLICITY: Except where prohibited, by accepting a prize, winner(s) grant the Sponsor and Station(s) permission to use their names, characters, images, voices, and likenesses worldwide, in perpetuity, in any and all media now known or hereinafter invented in any and all marketing and promotional materials and waive any claims to royalty, right, or remuneration for such use. Each winner’s name may be included in a publicly available winners list.
RELEASES, CONDITIONS, AND LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY
Contestants agree to release all Sponsors, and their parent and subsidiary companies, their officers, directors, employees, agents, shareholders, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, and advertising agencies from all liability, claims, or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages, or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with contest including the receipt, ownership, or use of the prize. Contest entrants agree to abide by the terms of these Official Rules and by the decisions of the contest commissioners, which are final on all matters pertaining to the contest. Entrants further grant to The Cromwell Media, INC & Affiliates (“WYCQ, INC”) the right to use and publish their proper name and state online and in print, or any other media, in connection with the Contest, including images or videos submitted into the “Nickelback Rockstar Contest”. The Cromwell Media INC & Affiliates (“WYCQ, INC”) reserves the right to use any and all information related to the Contest, including information on contestants obtained through the contest, for marketing purposes or any other purpose, unless prohibited by law. TAXES: Each winner is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes and will be required to complete an IRS form W-9 for prizes valued over six hundred dollars ($600.00). Sponsor reserves the right to withhold prizes until completed form W-9 is received.
CONDUCT AND DECISIONS: All decisions of the Sponsor will be final and binding on all matters relating to this Contest. Persons who violate any rule, gain unfair advantage in participating in the Contest, or obtain winner status using fraudulent means will be disqualified. Each Sponsor will interpret these Rules and resolve any disputes, conflicting claims or ambiguities concerning the rules or the Contest and the Sponsor’s decisions concerning such disputes shall be final. If, for any reason, more bona fide winners are notified than prize(s) available, prize(s) will be awarded in a random drawing from among all such persons. Inclusion in such drawing shall be each entrant’s sole and exclusive remedy under such circumstances. Any reference in these Official Rules or as part of the Contest to the Sponsor’s and/or Station’s “discretion” and/or any exercise of discretion by the Sponsor or Station shall mean in Sponsor’s and/or Station’s “sole and unfettered discretion.” The Sponsor further reserves the right to terminate the Contest if in its sole judgment, the rules or the integrity of the Contest have been violated or compromised in any way, intentionally or unintentionally by any person whether or not a entrant in the Contest. In the event the Contest is terminated, Sponsor will award the prize(s) in a random drawing from all eligible entries received prior to termination. If applicable material changes to the Contest rules will be broadcast on-air and available on-line at the Station’s website, when practical. The Sponsor’s failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of this provision.
Failure to conform to all contest rules, or any fraud or other illegal or inappropriate conduct on the part of a participant, will result in the participant’s disqualification and forfeiture of any prize won. THE CROMWELL MEDIA, INC AND AFFILIATES reserves the right to rule ineligible listeners who, in THE CROMWELL MEDIA, INC AND AFFILATES’s sole judgment, engage in abusive conduct with respect to any contest or promotion conducted by THE CROMWELL MEDIA, INC AND AFFILIATES or its affiliates. THE CROMWELL MEDIA, INC AND AFFILIATES reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify this Contest and these Official Rules at any time, which changes will become effective upon announcement. By taking part in this contest, participants agree to be bound by these rules and all decisions of the judges, who are employees of THE CROMWELL MEDIA, INC AND AFFILIATES and whose decisions with respect to all aspects of the contest are final and binding. If any provision of these Official Rules is declared or found by a court of competent jurisdiction to be illegal, unenforceable or void, then such provision will be null and void but each other provision hereof not so affected will be enforced to the full extent permitted by applicable law. COMPLIANCE WITH LAW AND GOVERNING LAW: All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of the Contest Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Tennessee. This contest is void where prohibited by law.
