A 20 year-old University of Tennessee student from Lawrenceburg, Tennessee died as he was fighting in a charity boxing match last Friday in Knoxville. Joseph Tanner Wray collapsed during the second and third round of his match in the Ace Miller Memorial Boxing Tournament.
Wray was a junior majoring in aerospace engineering and played quarterback and linebacker for the Lawrence County High School Wildcats.
