MAJORA
MAJORA found each other in Nashville, TN, united by a shared passion for making music that tells a story. Officially formed in July 2024, the band brings together Brittany Kellam (lead vocalist), Chris Lambert (guitarist), Devin Rose (bassist), and Chris Ram ( drummer). The roots of MAJORA stretch back to 2021, when Kellam, Rose, and Lambert first discussed forming a band, but the timing wasn’t right, and the idea was shelved. In 2023, Lambert and Rose joined forces with Ram in a pop-punk project, performing together for over a year before stepping away in search of a new direction. By June 2024, the three reconnected with Kellam and reignited their original vision – this time with clarity, chemistry, and a renewed sense of purpose. The result was MAJORA.
Their debut single “Trauma Bond,” released in March 2025, delves into the heartbreaking and complex narrative of a woman trapped in an abusive relationship with her lover. As the song progresses, we witness her inner turmoil, torn between the cruel mistreatment she endures and the overpowering emotional pull of her love for him. In the chorus, her struggle becomes more vivid as she is haunted by chilling visions of the grim future that lies ahead if she chooses to stay. By the end, her fate feels sealed, yet she continues to scream her love for him in her final moments, highlighting the painful hold of a trauma bond, an emotional connection that persists even in the face of her demise.
Their upcoming single, “ Amnesia,” is a dark, atmospheric take on the reality of struggling with addiction, imagined as a quiet force that lingers just out of reach. Reality begins to slip as the victim drifts in and out of awareness, losing time and pieces of themself along the way. The repeated command to “turn around” feels urgent and controlling, as if something is right behind them, waiting to take hold the moment they give in. Whatstarts as unease shifts into submission, with the subject ultimately inviting their vices to take control. The tone stays eerie and suffocating throughout, carrying a sense of inevitability that never quite lets up.
MAJORA’s sound strikes a balance between raw heaviness and melodic finesse, fusing aggressive, metalcore-rooted instrumentals with smooth, anchoring vocals that echo the emotional depth of traditional rock. Their music leans into hard-hitting rhythms and textured guitar work, but it’s the soaring, melodic toplines that ground each track, giving the sound a dynamic push and pull. MAJORA carves out a sonic identity that’s both intense and introspective, offering a fresh take on modern alternative metal. Known for their electrifying live shows, MAJORA brings relentless energy to the stage, blending tight musicianship with raw emotion and an undeniable presence that pulls the crowd in from the first note. Each performance feels like a shared release, turning every venue into a high-voltage space where connection and chaos coexist.
