I think we’ve officially found Middle Tennessee’s next “Ed the Zebra” story.
According to WKRN, a pet kangaroo named Ollie has gone missing from his home in Maury County, and his family is asking people to keep an eye out. He was last seen near Mack Benderman Road in Mount Pleasant wearing a purple leash and collar.
Sound familiar? Back in 2025, Middle Tennessee became obsessed with Ed the Zebra, who spent more than a week on the loose, sparked countless memes, and even ended up getting airlifted by helicopter after being captured. Now we’ve apparently entered our next exotic-animal escape era. Here’s hoping Ollie makes it home safely.
