From Ashes To New had to briefly stop a recent show after a fan in the crowd repeatedly sprayed the band with a water gun. Vocalist Danny Case eventually confronted the fan from the stage, threatening to jump into the crowd after being hit multiple times, including in the face. Case later explained that the band had already been sprayed at least six times before he finally snapped.
The band’s Matt Brandyberry also defended Case, saying he was hit directly in the eyes and pointing out that there was no way to know whether the water gun actually contained water… or something that could have caused serious injury.
