Greta Van Fleet fans basically sent themselves into a full-blown panic this week after the band posted a cryptic “thanks for the wild ride” video that really made it seem like a breakup announcement was coming. But now? Fans are digging through the band’s website code like conspiracy theorists at 2am and think they may have found a clue that this is actually teasing something new instead. One fan spotted a weird hidden symbol in the site’s code that looks like a castle with the letter “M” and an arrow pointing to “$0” …which immediately launched about a million theories online.
Some fans think the “M” could connect to guitarist Jake Kiszka’s side project Mirador, while others are convinced the “$0” hints at some kind of free secret show. Basically nobody actually knows what’s happening, but the internet has fully entered detective mode trying to crack it.
Looks like Greta Van Fleet accidentally turned their fanbase into the FBI for a week. Read more from Loudwire HERE.
