Nashville’s shiny new $2.2-billion Nissan Stadium is getting closer to the finish line, and Titans fans are already buzzing about the city’s soon-to-be giant, very fancy new playground on the East Bank.
Construction crews, sometimes as many as 2,000 workers a day, are racing toward the planned 2027 opening, with the exterior nearly sealed up, glass panels going in, and interior work like escalators, elevators, and concourses starting to take shape, according to WKRN. When it’s done, the fully enclosed stadium will seat around 60,000 fans, put seats closer to the field, and pack in modern upgrades meant to make Nashville an even bigger destination for huge events like the Super Bowl, Final Four, and massive concerts.
So the Titans’ new home is almost ready… bigger, shinier, and probably a little bougier than what we’re used to. Whether you’re pumped about it or already bracing for the price of a beer inside, one thing’s clear: Nashville’s about to get a very expensive new stadium to show off.
