Nashville drivers are already terrible, so now add self-driving cars to the mix! What could possibly go wrong?!
Strap in, because robot cars are about to creep into Nashville in full self-driving mode… no human hands on the wheel, just pure AI cruising the Music City streets like some sci-fi invasion. For months you may have spotted Waymo test vehicles mapping every nook and cranny with backup drivers, but now the company says those autonomous beasts are gonna hit the road for real later this month and start snatching up rideshare passengers in select areas.
According to WKRN, police have even gotten briefed on how to interact with them, ’cause yeah, real cars with no drivers is actually happening. This isn’t just nerdy testing anymore… it’s the future pulling up curbside, and Nashville might be one of the next cities where your Uber has zero human behind the wheel.
At least you won’t have to make small talk with your Uber driver anymore?? Read more from WKRN HERE.
