Nashville is gearing up to cram roughly a quarter-million people (!!!) into Bicentennial Mall for its New Year’s Eve “Big Bash,” and authorities are acting like herding cats is their biggest job of the year… 500 security folks, metal detectors, fencing, the whole shebang. They want you to Uber or shuttle it, wear warm clothes (because duh, it’s winter), and don’t bring bags unless you enjoy getting searched like you’re in an airport.
Sure, 250,000 attendees sounds wild, but if massive crowds, sweaty crowds, and the potential for chaos is your thing, go nuts… Nashville’s ready to throw you into the frenzy and wish you a safe New Year. WKRN has more info in the video below.
As always, don’t be an idiot and drive while drunk. Happy New Year!!!!!
