Get ready for a serious glow up… The Ascend Amphitheater is about to level up in a big way.
Ryman Hospitality Properties (via its arm Opry Entertainment Group) just won the deal to take over operations of Ascend with a brand-new 10-year contract starting in 2026. According to FOX 17, they’re committing around $12 million (or at least $11 million) in upgrades. Think shiny new sound/production equipment, better seating, cooler food and drink options, and that sweet river-front greenway connection finally getting some love.
The venue’s potential is being unlocked: fewer “dead days,” more community events, more major acts, and a vibe that says “yeah, she’s gonna look nice.”
