Ah man… Nashville just lost a true original. Denzel Irwin, but more famously known as “Santa” (yes, the Santa from Santa’s Pub) has passed, and we’re pouring one out (probably a $4 Yuengling) in his honor. The dude ran the best karaoke joint in town, served up beers cheaper than water, and somehow made a double-wide trailer one of the most iconic bars in the city.
No frills, no nonsense… just cheap drinks, good tunes, and that unmistakable beard behind the bar. Santa’s Pub won’t be the same without him, but his legacy? Untouchable. RIP to the man, the myth, the mic legend. WKRN posted an awesome story about him and his story. Read it HERE.
