A woman in Aventura, Florida met up with a man to sell him some used sneakers last weekend and ended up getting bopped by his SUV when she wouldn’t let him get a little bonus with the transaction.
She met up with the man at a hotel to sell him the sneakers, but apparently all he really wanted was to sniff her feet. After she declined, he took off toward the hotel’s parking garage so she chased after him, thinking he swiped her shoes.
The man ended up being in his car by the time she caught up to him and proceeded to hit her.
She’s totally fine and now has learned a valuable lesson on what to do when Facebook Marketplace purchases get off on the wrong foot.
