Imagine losing something a little over a decade ago, only for a random stranger to reach out on Facebook to tell you they found it!
That’s what happened to Richard Guilford who used to work at a Ford Assembly plant in Michigan. One day he wore sweats to work and kept his wallet in his shirt pocket. By the time he realized his wallet fell out, there were 2,000 cars around that it could’ve been in so Guilford cut his losses and went on without it.
Well, over a decade and 150K miles, Minnesota mechanic, Chad Volk was tinkering under the hood of a 2015 Ford Edge when the wallet popped out of an airbox.
Volk took to Facebook, found Guilford, and ended up shipping the wallet back to him with all the money and gift cards found inside.
