There’s that age-old adage “it takes a village” when it comes to caring for and providing for the children people bring into the world. However, a lot of the same people saying that, don’t actually want to help said village.
It’s a point that is illustrated every year when parents take to the internet to complain about the various items on their kids’ “back to school” classroom supply lists.
Times are certainly tough for everyone, but if you have the means to provide supplies for your child and can spare some extra for community use in the classroom, is that so bad?
