On Tuesday (June 24), Jack White announced the forthcoming publication of his new book, Jack White Collected Lyrics and Selected Writings Volume 1. The collection – which will be published by Third Man Books – will contain lyrics, poems, and writings from White’s solo career and beyond, including his work with The Raconteurs and The Dead Weather, as well as rare and exclusive photos. The book will also include new essays written especially for this project by Pulitzer Prize and National Book Award-nominated poet Adrian Matejka, Detroit-based filmmaker and writer dream hampton, and Third Man Records co-founder Ben Blackwell. The book is available for pre-order, and is set to be released in the U.S. on October 21, and in the U.K. on December 12. White just completed his No Name Tour in May, and he has a series of upcoming festivals scheduled, including appearances at Bourbon & Beyond, Riot Fest, and CBGB Festival. (Consequence of Sound)

What's the WORST part of going to a concert in Nashville now?
Parking costs more than the ticket
Waiting 45 minutes for an Uber that smells like weed
Post-show traffic that somehow still exists at 11pm on a Tuesday
The “convenience fee” being more inconvenient than convenient
Trying to leave Bridgestone with 18,000 other people at once
Voting Ends: Never
