Following the recent announcement of Soundgarden’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction, the band’s founding guitarist Kim Thayil has revealed six bands that he believes deserve that same recognition. “I did an interview last week, and the first thing I said was Alice in Chains, and next thing I said was Iron Maiden,” Thayil told Rolling Stone, before adding “The third thing I said was Sonic Youth. And yes, the next thing I said was The New York Dolls.” Thayil then responded enthusiastically to two suggestions by the interviewer, adding, “The Pixies, I 100 percent agree. And Motörhead, I, what, 200 percent agree?” The guitar legend then hinted at the possibility of Soundgarden performing at the ceremony, while mentioning their potential plans for guest singers joining the group. “It’s up to the Hall how they develop their program, but we would love to play there,” Thayil admits, before adding that possible guest vocalists would be chosen from “a few people we’ve performed with who would be the first ones for the call.” (Loudwire)

What's the WORST part of going to a concert in Nashville now?
Parking costs more than the ticket
Waiting 45 minutes for an Uber that smells like weed
Post-show traffic that somehow still exists at 11pm on a Tuesday
The “convenience fee” being more inconvenient than convenient
Trying to leave Bridgestone with 18,000 other people at once
Voting Ends: Never
Fri May 15
Nashville, TN, USA
Partly cloudy
